Teas on the Green: Diary Date

Farnley Estate WI is famous for its “Teas on the Green” which raises funds through the sale of refreshments at Leathley Parish Rooms. People come from miles around to enjoy our teas even when it rains!

Farnley Estate WI is part of the North Yorkshire West Federation of Women’s Institutes (NYWFWI) and the National Federation of Women’s Institutes.

The WI plays a unique role in providing women with opportunities, the chance to build new skills, take part in a variety of activities and to campaign on issues which matter to them and their communities.

Membership benefits include eight issues a year of WI Life magazine and the NYWFWI newsletter. Members can book for numerous NYWFWI events. They can also take advantage of the wide range of courses offered by Denman College, the WI’s own residential adult education college near Oxford.

The cost of the 2018 annual subscription is £39.00.

Farnley Estate WI Programme 2018

All our 2018 meetings unless otherwise shown in the programme take place on the second Wednesday of the month in Leathley Parish Rooms, The Green, Leathley, LS21 2LD at 7-30pm. The hall is open from 7-00pm.
